New Oakland Family Centers provides comprehensive behavioral health and substance abuse services for consumers across Michigan, in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.

Location: Southgate

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm or another full-time equivalent.

Reports To: President / Clinical Director / Clinical Supervisor

Compensation: Salaried Employee; $60,000 - $70,000/ year. Commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: The FACE to FACE Lead Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Therapist is a role comprised of multiple clinical responsibilities related to the FACE to FACE PHP Program. The Lead PHP Therapist will provide individual, admission, family, group, and other services in our PHP program. In addition, the Lead PHP will assist in additional administrative tasks to support the team. The Therapist will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide the highest quality of care to consumers in an acute setting.

Essential Duties / Functions:

• Provide individual, admission, family, group, and other services to consumers in the FACE to FACE Program in accordance with professional standards and policies/procedures of the facility.
• Serves as dedicated mentor to incoming PHP staff at assigned location(s) and supports to the onboarding process of new staff after start.
• In conjunction with site leadership, assists in the proactive support of New Oakland’s policies and mission.
• Assists in daily PHP management tasks as directed and in conjunction with site Director and Supervisor including, but limited to, facilitating AM team meeting, assigning tasks to PHP staff, and reviewing census.
• Develop and/or follow treatment plans using a person-centered process.
• Complete discharge planning and coordination of care as required.
• Ability to resolve all crisis situations appropriately.
• Complete documentation as required by the clinic’s policies/procedures.
• Maintain trainings per clinic’s policies/procedures and per licensure requirements.
• Actively participate as a positive member of the clinic environment.
• Attend daily FACE to FACE administrative/clinical meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Master’s degree and licensure in social work, professional counseling, or psychology. Full licensure highly preferred. Two + years of progressive responsibility with in an acute setting highly desired. Must be able to work well with all types of people and all populations including children, adolescents, and adults.
